Guanyin Bodhisattva came to the heavenly court to attend the Peach Banquet and saw that the scene was very chaotic.

She asked the Jade Emperor what happened.

The Jade Emperor told her that Sun Wukong disrupted the Peach Banquet, stole and ate the elixirs, and caused a big disturbance in the heavenly palace.

After listening, Guanyin Bodhisattva said to the Jade Emperor: "There is a person who lives at Guanjiankou, called Erlang Shen.

He has great abilities and should be able to capture Sun Wukong."

The Jade Emperor agreed.

He immediately called Erlang Shen to come.

Erlang Shen brought his six friends and many subordinates, as well as his dog, and together they came to Huaguo Mountain.

He had his subordinates surround Huaguo Mountain to prevent the monkeys from escaping.

Then, he himself walked to the front and said to Sun Wukong: "Let us fight a battle."

Sun Wukong asked: "Who are you?"

Erlang Shen said his own name.

They exchanged a few words, both became very angry, and started fighting.

They fought for a long time, and neither won.

Erlang Shen thought: "This way of fighting won't do."

He moved his body and became very large, as tall as a mountain.

He raised his sword and struck at Sun Wukong.

Sun Wukong was not afraid either.

He also became as large as Erlang Shen and struck with his golden-hooped staff.

The two giants fought on the mountain, making a loud noise.

Sun Wukong thought: I want to escape.

He turned into a small bird and wanted to fly away.

Erlang Shen saw it.

He turned into a big bird and went to catch the small bird.

Sun Wukong immediately jumped into the water and turned into a fish.

Erlang Shen again turned into a fish-catching bird and waited by the water's edge.

Sun Wukong had no choice but to go ashore, turn into a snake, and crawl into the grass.

Erlang Shen immediately turned into a snake-eating bird and used its long beak to peck at the snake.

Sun Wukong thought: He has seen through it all.

He rolled down the mountain and turned into a small temple.

His mouth is the temple door, his teeth are the door planks, his tongue is the statue in the temple, and his eyes are the windows.

His tail becomes a flag and is placed behind the temple.

Erlang Shen walks over and laughs as soon as he sees it.

He says: "How can there be a flag behind the temple?"

This must be Sun Wukong transformed.

He raises his sword and is about to chop the temple door.

Sun Wukong is very scared, immediately changes back to himself, turns into a beam of light, and runs away.

Erlang Shen chases from behind but cannot find Sun Wukong.

He thinks: "Sun Wukong might have gone to my home."

He immediately flies back to his home at Guankou.

Sun Wukong really arrived first.

He transformed into Erlang Shen's appearance and sat in the temple.

The people in the temple thought he was the real Erlang Shen and all bowed to him.

Erlang Shen returned home, saw Sun Wukong transformed into himself, and was still eating, which made him very angry.

He raised his knife and slashed.

Sun Wukong transformed back to himself and blocked with the Golden Cudgel.

They fought again from Guanjiankou back to Huaguoshan, still unable to determine a winner or loser.

The Jade Emperor, Guanyin Bodhisattva, and Taishang Laojun watched them fight from the sky.

Taishang Laojun saw that Erlang Shen had not won all along, so he said to Guanyin Bodhisattva: "I will help him."

He took a ring from his hand, called the Diamond Bracelet.

This circle is very powerful.

Lao Jun threw the circle down from the sky.

The circle hit Sun Wukong right on the head.

Sun Wukong was fighting seriously and did not expect something to fall from the sky.

He could not stand steadily and fell down.

He was just about to stand up when Erlang Shen's dog ran over and bit him on the leg.

Sun Wukong fell down again.

At this moment, Erlang Shen's six friends came up together and tied him up with a rope.

They also pierced his shoulder with a knife so that he could no longer transform.

The heavenly generals captured Sun Wukong and returned to the sky to tell the Jade Emperor.

The Jade Emperor gave the order to bring Sun Wukong to the Demon-Slaying Platform to kill him with the most severe punishment.
