The Jade Emperor told her in detail about Sun Wukong disrupting the Peach Banquet, stealing and eating the elixirs, and causing chaos in the Heavenly Palace.

After listening, Guanyin Bodhisattva recommended a person to the Jade Emperor.

She said that Erlang Shen, who lives at Guanjiangkou, is very capable and should be able to capture Sun Wukong.

The Jade Emperor accepted this suggestion and immediately ordered Erlang Shen to be summoned.

Erlang Shen received the order, brought the Six Brothers of Meishan and twelve hundred subordinates, as well as his dog Xiaotianquan, and rode clouds to arrive at Huaguo Mountain.

He first had his subordinates surround Huaguo Mountain on all sides to prevent the monkeys from escaping.

Then, he himself walked to the front and challenged Sun Wukong.

Sun Wukong saw that Erlang Shen looked very majestic and asked him who he was.

Erlang Shen stated his own name.

The two men exchanged a few words, both unhappy, and immediately started fighting.

They each held their weapons and fought over three hundred rounds in the sky, still unable to determine a winner.

Erlang Shen found it hard to win relying on martial arts, so he used his ability of seventy-two transformations.

He shook his body and grew to a height of ten thousand zhang.

He raised his three-pointed double-edged blade and pressed down on Sun Wukong like Mount Tai.

Sun Wukong was not afraid either; he also used his magical power to grow, becoming as tall as Erlang Shen, and met the attack with his golden-banded staff.

The two giants fought among the mountains, making a loud noise that alarmed all the heavenly soldiers and generals on the mountain.

Seeing it was hard to escape for the moment, Sun Wukong transformed into a sparrow, wanting to fly away and hide.

Erlang Shen's third eye on his forehead immediately saw through it, and he quickly transformed into a fierce eagle, flapping its wings to catch the sparrow.

Sun Wukong hurriedly dived into a small stream and transformed into a fish.

Erlang Shen transformed into an osprey again, standing by the water waiting to catch fish.

Sun Wukong had no choice but to jump ashore, transform into a water snake, and burrow into the grass.

Erlang Shen immediately transformed into a grey crane that specializes in eating snakes, extending its long beak to peck at the snake.

He said: "There is no flagpole standing behind a temple."

This must be that monkey transformed, trying to trick me into going inside so he can bite me.

After saying this, he raised his knife and was about to go chop the temple's doors and windows.

Sun Wukong saw that he had been exposed, panicked in his heart, immediately withdrew his magic, and turned into a golden light to escape.

Erlang Shen chased closely, but could not find where Sun Wukong had gone.

He guessed that Sun Wukong might have escaped to his residence, so he rode a cloud and hurried back to the Erlang Shen Temple at Guankou.

Sure enough, Sun Wukong arrived at the temple first.

He transformed into the appearance of Erlang Shen, sat in the main hall, and received offerings from people.

The little ghosts and judges in the temple could not recognize him for a moment, and they all knelt down and kowtowed to welcome him.

Erlang Shen arrived, saw Sun Wukong disguised as himself eating the offerings, was very angry, and raised his three-pointed, double-edged blade to strike.

Sun Wukong revealed his original form and blocked with the Golden Cudgel.

The two fought all the way back from Guankou to Huaguo Mountain, still unable to determine a winner.

The Jade Emperor, Guanyin Bodhisattva, Taishang Laojun, and other deities were all watching the battle outside the Southern Heavenly Gate.

Tai Shang Lao Jun saw that Erlang Shen had fought for a long time and still hadn't won, so he said to Guanyin Bodhisattva: "Let me help him."

He took a shining ring from his arm, called the Diamond Bracelet.

This magical treasure was forged from special materials, unafraid of water and fire, and can ensnare all kinds of things.

Lao Jun threw the Diamond Bracelet down from the sky.

The ring spun as it fell, hitting Sun Wukong right on the top of his head.

Sun Wukong was concentrating on fighting Erlang Shen and didn't expect a sneak attack from the sky; he was hit so hard that he couldn't stand steady and fell down.

He was just about to get up when Erlang Shen's Howling Celestial Dog pounced on him and bit him on the calf.

Sun Wukong fell down again.

At this moment, the Six Brothers of Mei Mountain rushed forward together, tightly bound him with ropes, and pierced his pipa bone with a hook knife, preventing him from transforming and escaping.

The heavenly generals escorted Sun Wukong, returned victoriously to the sky, and reported to the Jade Emperor.

The Jade Emperor ordered, to take Sun Wukong to the Execution Platform, and use the most severe punishment to execute him.
